GrammarBot
Discontinued AIDesktop
Description
GrammarBot is a desktop app that uses local LLMs to help you write well. You type your message, hit “Check”, and the local model takes care of correcting the text. I’m proud of this project because I’d say it was one of the first products that made local models easy and genuinely useful.
I tried several models, but the one with the best speed/performance balance turned out to be Mistral-7B.
